AUDIO REACTIVE RAP SHOW, 2023
I was tasked with creating visuals for a rap show. The visuals had to be original and subtract in nature, and thus I created them in TouchDesigner.
The rapper's persona was bold and energetic, and his dressing style alluded to "hype culture." Here's a summary video of the VJ set that I put up on Instagram. Since this is a niche field of work, I used a the "IShowSpeed" meme template to create the video. This made it fun and relatable for the Instagram audience.
The meme alludes to the distinction between the tediousness of the creation process juxtaposed with the satisfaction with the result (seeing custom made visuals on an LED screen)

This web based project explores the relationship between typography and illusion via the means of digital interaction. As the user types an alphabet on their keyboard, a concentric circular version of that alphabet shows up on the web interface. The characters appear on a linear background. As the user scrolls through the type, an illusion of the famous Moiré Pattern is created. This project has been titled Joker because of its illusory and playful nature.
